2. Applications
This Outdoor Telecom Equipment Cabinet is mainly used in wireless communication base station.The ambient temperature is minimum -20 degree in winter and up to 55 degree in summer. The internal temperature of the cabinet keep at 5 to 30 degrees. When the temperature in the cabinet reaches the set value,the fans start to work.
3. Cabinet Description
3.1 Cabinet Structure And Material
The cabinet is equipment cabinet, including an air conditioner and fans on the side of the cabinet .
The cabinet is made of 5052 aluminium, with single walls, which the plate is 2.5mm thick . The heat insulation fitting on the inner wall is 20mm PEF. The cabinet is assembled type.
3.2 Cabinet Door and Lock
The cabinet door adopts embedded structure. The door opening angle is more than 110°and the door threshold device can limit the opening angle. The lock is anti-theft three point lock, supporting padlock.
4. Features
4.1 The outdoor cabinet is dustproof, sunproof and rainproof.
4.2 The cabinet cooling using air conditioner and fans.
4.3 Equipped with -48VDC illumination lighting.
4.4 The layout of the cabinet is reasonable, which facilitating cable access, fixing and grounding. At the bottom of the cabinet, there are entry holes individually for power cable, signal cable and optical cable.
4.5 All the cables, sealing and heat insulation used in the cabinet are made of flame retardant materials.
4.6 Surface treatment: degreasing, derusting, rustproof phosphating, powder coated.
4.7 Ingress protection: IP65
4.8 Insulation resistance: the insulation resistance between grounding devices and cabinet body parts is not lower than 2×104M/500V(DC).
4.9 Withstand voltage: the withstand voltage between grounding devices and cabinet body is not less than 3000V(DC)/1min.
5. Components Installation
The air Conditioner and fans are installed on the side of the cabinet.
6. Cable Inlet
Feeder cable and other external cables are accessed at the bottom of cabinet.
7. Grounding Protection
The cabinet is equipped grounding copper bar with anticorrosive coating. There are enough screws for wiring terminals.
The metal part of the cabinet should be interconnected and be connected to the grounding bar. The connection resistance between any two points is less than 0.1Ω.
Protective earthing of other equipments inside the cabinet should be connected to the grounding bar.
8. Anti-theft Design
8.1 Anti-theft design of door lock
Three point lock
Damage resistance of the anti-theft lock meets GA/T 73-1994 “Mechanical Anti-theft Lock” class B requirement, supporting padlock.
8.2 Connection and Fastening
(1) Anti-loosing thread is used as structure and bearing connection. The anchor bolts for fixed cabinet are hot dip galvanized bolts.
(2) Door hinges use inner hinge mode.
8.3 Appearance and Surface Treatment
Cabinet surface coating is outdoor special powder coating, with white gray color (PANTONE 428C). The coating complies with GB/T 3181-2008 requirement.
