1. Monitoring System Diagram and Solution
Monitoring alarm
The monitoring unit conducts real time monitoring on smoke, water, door opening, LED lamp, temperature and humidity inside each compartment through various sensors. It is with alarm output, and can transmit alarm signals to Local Area Network or remote monitoring platform through RS485/RS232, Ethernet etc.
Monitoring Unit Diagram
The monitoring unit uses dual core processing. the power supply uses DC/DC module. The measuring channel, power supply, and communication interfaces are electrically isolated, so the monitoring unit has high reliability . The MCU control design has functions of self management and self correction. The monitoring unit support RS485/RS232 communication method. With the communication interfaces, it can realize many kinds of communication modes, such as point to point communication, point to multipoint communication, wireless remote communication, which can meet the need of various system networks.
2. Monitoring and Alarm
The monitoring unit conducts the following monitoring and alarm for the cabinet: door alarm, power failure alarm, smoke alarm, water alarm, temperature and humidity detection and alarm, shock and tilt alarm, etc.
(1) Door alarm
There are two door switches. The one near the top of the cabinet is used for control the on/off of LED lamp, and the other one detects the opening and closing of the cabinet door. When the door is open, the door switch closes, and the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center through RS485/RS232. Meanwhile, there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL6, AL7). It will close in abnormal situation.
(2) Power failure alarm
The port “AC220V” on the monitoring unit is for utility power detecting input. In case of utility power failure, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm signal to the control center through RS485/RS232, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL8, AL9). It will close in abnormal situation.
(3) Smoke alarm
The port “S” on the monitoring unit is for smoke sensor detecting input. When smoke is detected, the red light on the smoke sensor turn bright, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL2, AL3). It will close in abnormal situation.
(4) Water alarm
The port “w+. w-” on the monitoring unit is for water sensor detecting input. When water is detected inside the cabinet, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL4, AL5). It will close in abnormal situation.
(5) Temperature and humidity detection and alarm
The port “5V, T1, H1, GND” on the monitoring unit is for temperature and humidity sensor of battery compartment detecting input, and port “5V, T2(or T3), H2(or H3), GND” is for temperature and humidity sensor of equipment compartment detecting input. The monitoring unit can conduct real time detecting on temperature and humidity inside the compartment. When temperature and humidity sensor send out alarm signal, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm signal to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL0, AL1). It will close in abnormal situation.

(2) Function:
When forcible entry (forcible opening the cabinet door) happens, the door sensor will send the door alarm signal, and transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center in switching mode.
Power Failure Alarm

(2) Function:
When AC power supply failure happens, the sensor will send AC power supply failure alarm signal, and transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center in switching mode.
Smoke Sensor

Working temperature: -20°C ~ 70°C
Working humidity: 0% ~ 95%

(2) Function:
When burning or smoke happens inside the cabinet, the sensor will send out alarm signal, and transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center in switching mode.
Water Sensor

(2) Function:
When water level inside the cabinet reach the alarming level, the sensor will send out alarm signal, and transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center in switching mode.

(2) Function:
