1. General Description
1.1 Control Board
Diagram 1.1 shows the control board of the environment monitoring unit. It includes one 2*16 LCD screen, four operating buttons, four working indicator lights, and one power supply switch.

(1) Power Switch: turn on or turn off power.
(2) LCD Display Screen:
It shows different contents under the following three status.
Operating Mode: the first line shows indoor temperature and humidity; the second line shows the real-time clock, among which the first letter “A” stand for automatic output, ”M” stand for manual output. One can directly revise DOx register to amend the output status.
Menu Mode: can select eleven menu items in sequence.
Parameter Mode: shows parameter name and parameter value. For detail, please check the NO. 3 content.
(3) Four buttons:
PgDn:
At operating status: press once and release the button, enter menu operation interface;
At Menu selection interface: press once to enter the selected parameter group;
At parameter status: revise, confirm and parameter page down button; a long press on the button to exit parameters and to menu interface;
At query status: select the former day’s daily record, a long press on the button to exit query and to menu interface;
▲:increasing parameter revision. Page down button for event query.
▼:decreasing parameter revision. Page up button for event query.
PgUp:
At parameter status: page up button; the function is oppose to PgDn operation;
At menu selection interface: press once to exit parameter status and come to operating status;
At query status: select the latter day’s daily record; at current daily record, press the button to exit query.
(4) Four Status Lamps:
PWR : power indicator; when it is bright, it shows being connected with DC48V;
Work : when the system is working, it flashes at 1HZ frequency;
TEC : when this lamp is bright, it shows the TEC air conditioner is working(cooling or heating);
Alarm : system alarm occur.
1.2 Wiring Ports
The following diagram shows the ports from left to right.
JD16: utility power detection input, DI13;
JD15: universal analog input port 2;
1, 4 - 12V; 3, 6 - 0V; 2 - AI3; 5 - AI4;
JD14: universal analog input port 1;
1, 4 - 12V; 3, 6 - 0V; 2 - AI1; 5 - AI2;
JD13: universal digital input port 3;
1 - 12V; 6 - 0V; 2 - DI9; 3 - DI10; 4 - DI11; 5 - DI12;
JD12: universal digital input port 2;
1 - 12V; 6 - 0V; 2 - DI5; 3 - DI6; 4 - DI7; 5 - DI8;
JD11: universal digital input port 1;
1 - 12V; 6 - 0V; 2 - DI1; 3 - DI2; 4 - DI3; 5 - DI4;
Note: (1) Except DI13, all other universal DI can be redefined;
(2) Factory default: DI1 - door sensor; DI2 - smoke sensor; DI3 - water sensor;
JD10: temperature and humidity sensor 1 input port;

JD9: temperature and humidity sensor 2 input port;
1 - 5V; 2 - Temp2; 3 - Hum2; 4 - 0V;
JD8: communication port;
1 - SGND; 2 - B-(RS485)/TXD(RS232); 3 - A+(RS485)/RXD(RS232);
JD7: universal digital output port 4;

DO7 - temperature 2 (equipment compartment) alarm;
DO12 - system general alarm.
JD3: TEC air conditioner control output; when cooling, 1 anode, 2 cathode; when heating, 1 cathode, 2 anode;
JD2: fan control output; 1 - cathode; 2 - anode;
JD1: DC48V power supply input; 1 - 0V; 2 - 48V;
1.3 Universal Analog Input
Four way universal analog can be connected with 0~5V, 1~5V, 4~20MA signal; when connected with 4~20MA current signal, corresponding jumper (JP4 ~ JP7) should be with short circuit.
2. Technical Parameters
(1) Analog Input: eight way; four ways specially for temperature and humidity measurement, the other four ways for universal AI, 0 ~ 5V, 1 ~ 5V, 4 ~ 20MA universal input;
(2) Digital Input: thirteen ways; one way specially for utility power detection (220VAC input), the other twelve ways for universal DI input, function redefinable;
(3) Digital Output: fourteen ways; two ways specially for TEC air conditioner and fan control, the other twelve ways for universal DO output, function redefinable;
(4) Temperature Measurement Range: - 50°C ~ 85°C, accuracy 0.1 °C ; humidity measurement accuracy ±4%;
(5) Universal Analog AD Conversion Resolution: 10 bit;
(6) Three Control Modes for DO Output: manual output, SU remote control, automatic control;

(8) Daily Record Storage And Query Function: recent 180 days’ daily records for query, including every day’s highest, lowest, average temperature, TEC air conditioner start times, operating time length, daily alarm event etc;

3. Operation and Parameters
Note: please don’t change the settings of parameter group 4, 5, 6, 7, otherwise it may cause channel function failure. Generally they are already set by the factory before delivery.
3.1 Start
When the Monitoring Unit is connected to power, the system self checking begins. After the checking, it will display “Success” (means normal) or “Failure”.
3.2 Enter and Exit Parameter Menu
Under the operating mode, press the button “PgDn”, the system will enter the menu mode. Diagram 3.1 shows the menu content.
Under this mode, through the buttons “▲” ”▼”, one can choose the following menu items in sequence:
0: AI Look // Analog input channel value query
1: DI Look // Digital input channel status query
2: DO Look // Digital output channel status query
3: Event Query // Daily record events query
4: AI Define // Analog input channel function definition
5: DI Define // Digital input channel function definition
6: DO Define // Digital output channel function definition
7: ZF Cal. // Analog channel Zero amplitude adjustment
8: CPar Update // System control parameters revision
9: Time Update // Time parameters revision
10: Return // Return
After choose any menu item, press “PgDn” to enter the corresponding parameter group.
Under this mode, one can directly exit menu mode by pressing the button “PgUp”.
