Welcome to use GPE48200N. It consists of the power distribution frame, monitoring module and rectifier module. The whole system is of high reliability and performance, and can be operated through PC software.

2. Installation Basic Requirements
2.1 Environment Requirements For Cabinet
The Embedded Telecom Power System should be installed in environment conditions as shown in Table (1).

2.2 Space Size Requirement
Full configuration power system weight: 23.5 kg; Size: W 482.6× D 340 × H 265.9 mm
2.3 Load-Bearing And Shockproof Requirement
For regions with lots of earthquakes, the power system installation should take proper shockproof measures. General approach is to do shockproof reinforcement on the device
.
Full configuration power system weight is 23.5 kg, size is W 482.6× D 340 × H 265.9 mm. The installation of the power system should meet the above weight requirements. The specific load bearing requirement is determined by other equipments installed inside the cabinet.
2.4 Installation In Cabinet
Step One: Mark specific installation position of the power system.
Confirm the power system installation position inside the cabinet according to cabinet installation drawing. Confirm specific position of each mounting hole on the cabinet according to installation parameters of the power system.
Step Two: Put the power system in place.
Move the power system to the installation position inside the cabinet. Make the mounting holes on the power system align with the mounting holes on the cabinet rack.
Step Three: Fix the power system.
After putting the power system in place, adjust the mounting holes position to align with those on the cabinet rack; tighten the screws with a screwdriver, and fix the power system to the rack.
After finishing installation, shake the frame of the power system from different directions, it should not have obvious loosening and wobble.
2.5 Switch Operation Before Wiring
Turn off all the switches before wiring.
2.6 Connect Cable To Air Switch
Peel the power cable and crimp an H terminal, then insert it into the wiring hole of the air switch and tighten
the screw above it. As shown in diagram (1):

2.7 Connect Cable To Copper Bar
Peel the power cable and crimp a copper nose, insert the screw or bolt through the copper nose. As shown in diagram (2):

3. Power Distribution Instruction
3.1 Front Power Distribution Of Embedded Telecom Power System
4. Cable Connection Instruction
4.1 Cable Connection Method
(1) The first step, connect the ground wire to the grounding screw of the embedded telecom power system. As shown below:
(2) The second step, load negative cable connection. The loads are divided into priority loads and non-priority loads. Connect non-priority loads cables to LLVD MCBs (as shown below). Select MCB capacity according to load current.( The load current must be lower than MCB capacity).
(3) The third step, load negative cable connection. The loads are divided into priority loads and non-priority loads. Connect priority loads cables to BLVD MCBs (as shown below). Select MCB capacity according to load current.( The load current must be lower than MCB capacity).
(4) The fourth step, connect load cables and battery cables anode (+) to the anode copper bar (as shown below).
(5) The fifth step, the battery cable cathode (-). Connect battery cathode cable to battery MCB (as shown below).
(6) The sixth step, connect AC input power cable to AC input MCB (as shown below). When connecting the cables, please note positions of phase line and neutral line ( see the labels).
Note!
(1) Before power-on, make sure all the MCBs in the embedded telecom power system are turned off.
(2) Firstly turn on the AC input switch, providing mains power input for the system.
(3) After the power supply to the monitoring module is normal, turn on the load MCB, connect the load fuse, and make sure the load output is normal.
(4) Connect battery fuse, and ensure that the battery charge, discharge, circuit is connected.
(5) Check that all the loads is powered on.
5. Rectifier Module Installation
First step: Hold the rectifier module with hand and insert it into the frame of the embedded telecom power system. Then slowly push the module into its slot until the connection terminal on back of the module are inserted into corresponding socket of system bar in the frame, as shown below:
Second step: Use a small Phillips screwdriver to tighten the two fixing screws on the handle.Then the installation is complete.
Third step: Repeat the first step and the second step to install the remaining modules.
6. Monitoring Module Installation
First step: Hold the monitoring module with hand and insert it into the frame of the embedded telecom power system. Then slowly push the module into its slot until the connection terminal on rear panel of the module are inserted into corresponding socket of system bar in the frame. As shown below.
Second step: Use a small Phillips screwdriver to tighten the two fixing screws on the handle. Then the installation is complete. As shown below.

7.2 Pins Sequence
In the above screen print diagram, the terminal pins sequence is as follows: from right to left, the first pin is PIN1, the second pin is PIN2, the third pin is PIN3...... and so on. As shown below:
7.3 Interface Definition
12V OUT: 12VDC power supply output (power supply for smoke alarm);
SMOKE: Smoke alarm signal input, PIN1 is signal input, PIN2 is monitor output 12V;
DOOR-CONTROL: Door alarm input, PIN1 is door sensor signal input, PIN2 is 12V power supply;
BK1: Backup digital value 1, PIN1 is digital input, PIN2 is 12V power supply;
BK2: Backup digital value 2, PIN1 is digital input, PIN2 is 12V power supply;
5V OUT: 5V power supply output (backup), PIN1 is 5V anode, PIN2 is 5V grounding;
AM-TEMP1: Ambient temperature input 1, PIN1 is signal input, PIN2 is 5V anode;

8. Background Software Description
8.1 Power On The Embedded Telecom Power System
(1) Before power on, please check connection status of the input, output, grounding cables. After confirmation, turn on input switch of GPE48200N.
(2) After power on, check whether the display status of the device indicator light is normal.
8.2 RS485 Networking Connection And Installation
The computer to be installed with this software should connect an active converter (RS232 to RS485 active converter) to its RS232 serial port. Through the active converter, the computer can be connected to the remote monitoring module of the Embedded Telecom Power System (It can be connected with max. 254 monitoring module).

8.2.4 Login
Step One: When using the software, user validation is required. One need to enter a user name and password. "Admin" is the super user name, the initial default password is 1, click ”Login”.
Step Two: Click “New” as shown below.
Step Three: Right-click “Add PS” as shown below.
Step Four: Fill in the name, and click “OK” as shown below.
Step Five: Select the following figure.
Step Six: Right-click, select “Comm. Para Settings”.
Step Seven: Select the port number and RS485 Port, click "OK”.
Step Eight: Double-click the following diagram.
8.2.5 LAN Communication Mode Connection
Step One: click “Use the following IP address” “192.168.0.100”; click “subnet mask” and then click “OK” as shown below.
Step Two: Click the top left corner “New” and then right-click “Add PS”, the “name” is user-defined. IP: 192.168.0.105; ”Port No.” is 2001; then click “OK”.
Step Three: select “LAN Port” and then click “OK”.
Step Four: Double-click the following figure.
9. System Maintenance
(1) Failure: rectifier module yellow light is continuously flashing, communication failure.
Maintenance: check the communications network, whether there is loose, if the network interface is damaged.
(2) Failure: rectifier module yellow light keep on.
Maintenance: check if the fan is blocked, if the load current exceeds the Max. current; if the AC voltage is over low, auto derating function appears; whether over-high temperature pre-warning appears; whether remote shutdown function is set on the PC intreface.
(3) Failure: rectifier module red light on.
Maintenance: if the voltage is too high or too low, over/under voltage protection appears; if fans are blocked; if the ambient temperature is too high; if the load short circuit occurs;
If system red light on is not the above cases, that means the module is abnormal, and should be returned to the factory for repair.
(4) Failure: rectifier module red, yellow, green light are all off;
Maintenance: check if there is AC input. If no AC input, please check the input circuit; if there is AC input, but the lights are not bright, that means the module is damaged, returned to the factory for repair.
